How old is it now?
with mine I do about the same thing when they are small I just remove their perch and just cup my hand under them very gentle. I don't actually hold them for a long while - in fact I don't recommend holding neos. so this is how I get them use to me and me use to them. most of them will jerk toward your hard when u touch them this is normal many will even bite or try... just use caution and gentle and with time they will be happy to see u and want to come out for pics. I have done this with all of mine and they all are handleable - tic-tac which is my avatar has never bitten but he gets spooked very easily so I don't hold him as much and since he is going to be a breeder I feel aggressive ones are better breeders therefore the less is better. But I love my GTP everyone see them differently many people recommend not holding them I just cant seem to help myself.

Necco is a beauty!! I am looking forward to picking up my first GTP in the very near future!!! I still have some research to do. I like the sorongs the best I think due to the nice greens and blues but I never seem to see any babies available.
