    Boiler room.

The boiler room in my basement is around 85-88 degrees. Would i be able to keep my snakes down there without any other forms of heating?

If it stayed 88 and nothing lower than you would be perfectly fine with out adding heat.

Personally i wouldn't trust it considering boiler rooms get hotter the more their worked and cooler the less. Best off using a space heater with a thermostat to control the room better.

As long as it didn't go much higher than 88 you'd be ok.

Last time Tracy was on Reptile Radio I think she said it was 80... with hotspots of 90 for the gravid females. I keep my juveniles and adult males at an ambient of 83 with no hot spot and no problems.

So it would be ok if the room was 88 as long as the heat tape/thermostat was set about 88 too?
