One Ball of Joy and Two Face Eating Monsters

Three newish additions!!! I'm so happy with all of them!

Reduced '10 Mojave Male. Saw this boy and couldn't say no. He's so reduced! No patterning on his neck at all. Plus some nice striping.

He's also super sweet, and super scared of the camera.

Next is the newish '09 Cinny female. She's a big girl from JD constriction. Absolute hissy monster. Does not like me at all. Wants to eat my face.

As an added bonus she's 50% poss. het. sk Axanthix.

I've saved the best for last! Early '10 female black pewter het. hypo from fireball. Seems like I've been paying this girl off for ages!!! She's in shed right now, so only one pic.

But as you can see, she's another (not quite as big) hissy face eating monster. Maybe she'll chill a bit after shedding and eating (fingers crossed)

I'm in love with all of them. But for some reason I only pick mean females. All my males are super sweet and calm. All my girls are monsters. What am I doing wrong?
Boys: Pied, enchi het. hypo, cinnamon
Girls: Mojave, black pewter het. hypo
Others: SSP, (2)Jungles, (2)gtp, bredli, 88% IJ Jag, SD Anery Retic, hoggie, Boelens, Coastal, SD sunfire retic
Others with legs: Panther cham, monitor, big giant blonde drunk frat boy of a golden retriever
On the way: Iran Jaya, Butter het. hypo, spider 50% het clown, (3) possible het clowns, (maybe) blue line chondro

Glad you liked the pewter het hypo, she is a chow hound being close to 400 grams and only being a 2010...she should shed for you in the next day or two

My Mojave male is the sweetest, calmest, nicest snake ever. My Cinnamon male is a very irate face-eating monster. I've heard that Cinnys and Black Pastels can be a little...temperamental, lol. And it was further confirmed in my mind when Snakebytes did an ep about it, too!!!

I was going to say...I've heard that a lot of Cinnys are temperamental and I've seen a few posts here that are confirming it. I guess maybe something in the genetics?

My female is hissy but handleable but my male cinny is untouchable unless you have ninja skills like mine.

I hear yeah on the mean females lol. I've got three normal girls who never miss a meal and would eat you if given the chance. Now why did I put there tubs on the top shelf of the rack? Lol

She's lovely! And I was pleasantly surprised by how big she is. I can't wait to see her after she sheds, and I'll update this thread with pictures when she does.

I always wondered about cinny's. After I found out my first cinny female was aggressive I thought it was just her. When the second cinny female turned out mean I began to wonder. Now that the black pastel female is a pain in the bum too it all falls into line. It must be something associated with that gene that makes them all MEAN. Good thing they're so pretty or else I wouldn't put up with it.

But I do chose pissy females. Even my super pastel has an attitude problem.

Re: One Ball of Joy and Two Face Eating Monsters

I dug up that Snakebytes ep.

    YouTube - ‪SnakeBytesTV "Snakes And Racial Profiling?"‬‎

I have to admit, my Cinny may be a little spitfire but frankly I love his personality. He's one of those that when you open his tub he comes flying out of his hide, all s'd up and looking RIGHT AT YOU, like he's trying to say "you wanna pick me up? GO AHEAD, TRY IT. MAKE MY DAY!!!!"

Until recently he was also the smallest snake I own, which made it EVEN FUNNIER.

Of course I also try very had not to let anyone else touch or hold him...because he IS a bit bitey and I don't want him biting anyone but me. Plus I have crazy biting dodge skills.

Plus...while I know Cinnys can be snots, I just LOVE their colours and my boy has the prettiest patterning. I'm on the lookout for juuuust the right Cinny female to buy for him...agression or no, I just love Cinnamon Balls!!!!
