    Tub Gap

Can a baby or juvenile fit through a 1/8" gap? I would assume not but wasnt sure if there bodys could stretch enough to do so.

    Re: Tub Gap

Want me to be honest, i didnt think a baby could and 2 hatchlings i picked up managed to slip tgrough, one got out n hid behind the tub on the heat tape, the other one i lost for 2 days until i found it 3 rooms away next to the heater. I say try and have lids till they get bigger, but as babies, they will find a way out.

    Re: Tub Gap

What about one that is a month or older? I made a quarantine rack in a separate room and thought 1/8" would be a small enough gap but after looking at it, I may take the gap to just over zero.

an 1/8" gap? I don't think so. Maybe a 1/4" gap, but not a 1/8" gap. A corn snake could probably squeeze through but not a ball python.

    Re: Tub Gap

Thanks guys. I went and closed the gap a little bit anyways. Its about 1/16 or slightly closer. I just feel safer having the gap close like that knowing the snakes wont get out.
