Yep, same here, except all mine are on rats except one. Mine is my biggest female at 2,300 grams. She stopped for three weeks, took a small rat last week and now refused this week (She usually eats medium rats.).

Yeah, I'm not breeding my girl until I get at least two or three more good meals into her. You could try switching her back with smaller rats, such as larger pups or real small rats, that's what I did with one of my others. Sometimes you just have to keep a mouse or two in a box and let them get real stinky for a couple of days, then shake the rat up in all of that bedding. Either way whether you switch to rats or not, I wish you luck.

My big girls are eating me out of house and home and rats, lol.
I have a couple refusing from being shipped, but all of my long term big girls are chowing hard and fast.

yeah i have tried getting her back on weaned rats, and small.

    no dice.

i throw in a retired breeder mouse, dead in minutes. this was a week ago though. she is just not responding well to feeding.

how ever her heat has come down in her enclosure a bit more than it was.

she was getting up to 95 in there and loving life, but i thought it was too hot so i braught it down. i dont think she likes it cooler.

Re: anyone elses big girls not eating weekly?

My girl usually eats F/T small rats, week in, week out. For the last two weeks she has turned up her nose. But my male who had been on a strike since January, started eating F/T mice a few weeks ago and this week took a F/T small rat.

Goes to show you never can tell!

Re: anyone elses big girls not eating weekly?

My big girl is picky. She won't eat mice, she won't eat frozen, so far she will only eat live rat pups. I'm not wanting to move her prey size up because of that, but maybe I'll try a small adult.
