Because of the move and everything, I'm obviously WAY behind on all my usual tasks. Robin (rabernet) has graciously helped me this month by validating a lot of pictures for me. THANK YOU, Robin!
But because of the split in responsibilities this month, I can't tell who has received PM's and who has not. And, as I mentioned, I'm still way behind on a TON of work I need to do, so I won't be sending out any PM's this month.
So.....IF you submitted a contest picture and IF that picture was not included in the final polls that will go up on August 1st...this was due to one of the following reasons:
1. You did not meet the minimum requirement for site participation.
2. The picture submitted was not a picture of an animal that you own/keep.11. Persons entering contests must be regular contributors to BP.net. This means a minimum of 10 posts in the last 30 days. This post-count does not include classified ads or “gallery posts” in which you post only to show pictures of your animals.
3. The picture submitted did not match the current POTM theme.3. The picture must be one that you have taken and it must be an animal that belongs to you. (unless otherwise noted for a POTM theme)
Please review all Contest Rules!July's POTM theme will be "MACRO RIDDLES".
Submit a photo of some common object that looks less-than-common when viewed at close range. Pictures should be judged on quality of the photo and composition as well as originality and how clever the "riddle" is.
Last note for the night...we have a TON of great ball python pics this month...and also an excellent selection of herp pics. But only FOUR entries for our Photo of the Month. Tomorrow (Saturday) is the last day to submit...so get to clicking and submitting!
