    is..

    UNFREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!!

I have never seen this!! The only one I saw was one doing abstract art. That really makes me wonder how smart elephants are.

    Thanks for sharing this!!

Well, glad I could also introduce everyone to the actual elephants.

I was mostly intending to post the spoof, but hey, glad people are happy!

Please don't make this an ethical debate guys. The thread is about the second, weird video.

Oh, you're taking all the fun out of it.

BTW, I knew it was trick photgraphy. See how it looks when viewed from another direction. I knew it, I knew it!

The first video is aboslutely amazing! They think so much differently than us. I couldn't see what it was drawing till everyon in the video did! I'm just amazed! It even drew 4 legs, 2 on each side! They are incredibly smart!

    The second video...weird

Re: The Truth about the Elephant paintings.

Nah, don't be too impressed. The abstracts are the REAL elephant paintings.

These elephants were taught and carefully trained to paint the more realistic things, it isn't something they can do on their own.

One very good reason for this is that elephants have exceptionally poor eyesight.
Perhaps if they could see better, they could paint still lifes without a coach...we may never know.
