    Talking New Python Owner-Update!

I tried to feed my girl last night for the first time and she took it with no hesitation at all! Then she went into her new hide I made her-a big shoe box because the one I had for her was too small and she didn't even attempt to go into it at all. I was so frikkin' happy! Fed her a live med. sized rat and I really don't think that was big enough so at the next feeding I'm going to give her a large rat. Thanks to everyone for your input/tips in helping me! This trully is an addiction!

Congratulations! It's always nice when they feed for the first time. I rescued a bp from someone and it hadn't ate in 10 months. He didn't have an uth so i got one of those and it ate the next week. Goodjob!

yeah i had one like that but it ate within 3 days once it had a steady heat source. the owner's wife kept shutting the heat off for the snakes.
