    egg tooth pictures

    I was able to take a picture of an egg tooth

    not always easy to see even has the naked eye.....:eek:

    Do the egg teeth fall off immediately after hatching? Hoping to see 6 of those myself, in about 20 days...

    @AprilD It's the bump you see by the snakes nose. It's used to pierce the egg shell.

    Cool! I purchased a pastel last year that was so young she still had a little red dent where the tooth had fallen out. I always wondered what the tooth had actually looked like...
