Hi everyone! My name is Iris, I'm a graduate student looking to get my first ball python. Actually, I shared one with a friend - we said we had "joint custody" - a looonng time ago, when we were in middle school. But since that was so long ago and we shared a lot of the duties, I don't actually remember a lot of the details. I definitely feel like a beginner right now so I'm ready to learn!

About a year ago I had my heart set on getting a ball python but got placed into a "no pets allowed" apartment... I was so disappointed. But now I'm about to move again and will be allowed to have a pet so I'm getting back into the swing of things and refreshing my memory for caring for the snake! It also means I've had a lot of prep time to think about everything too I hope I make a good owner. I'm sure I'll be back here with lots of questions.
