Less then a month old and already an escape artist

As the title says my wife went down to check on the baby rack and one of the tubs was pushed out a little and a snake is not in it. Normally I just check the warm areas (pipes, crawl spaces behind things etc.) but this is a tiny 60 gr baby who hasnt even had its first meal yet. Just shed earlier this week. and also it is summer so the air vents and stuff i have found an escape artist are blowing cold air instead of heat so. Any insight might be helpful for a baby snake.

Umm, just look for really small warmish areas.

Also, keep looking as close to the tub as possible. I have had a couple of mine get out, and end up finding them 5 feet from their enclosure. Most just find the first tiny space they can crawl into, and jam themselves in there. Good luck, and I hope you find the little guy!

    Hi,

Also check behind the remaining tubs in the rack - I found my only hatchling wanderer sitting on top of the tub two shelves above his.

If you have a heat mat, I would leave it out so if he looks for heat, you may find him on it! I had only one escape when I had tanks. I didn't lock and top and she got out! I went crazy and when I was about to give up the search, I found her on top on my bike's rear tire! Good luck!

Found him cold and kind of stuck behind the rat tank. There was no rats in it and he kind of got him self stuck between the shelve and the wall. I saw him just as i was gonna go up stair and give up till it got later and he might be more active. We washed him off and put him away making sure the tub was more secure
