I've read that the eggs can "dimple" up to 2 weeks before hatching. Just how big is/are the dimples? My first clutch is due to hatch the last week of July and they "dimpled" about 8 days ago (day 35). But I imagined little indentations. Mine have more like DENTS
The humidity is quite near 100% in my incubator (Nature's Spirit, on a Helix Controls and hydrometer is in the egg tub) and is at 89 degrees. The younger clutch in there shows no problems, the eggs are nice a plump. There is even a SLIGHT bit of condensation on the tub lids.
I candeled and I got movement out of 4 of the 5 eggs (bad angle to get to the fifth). They are at day 43 now.
Sorry, after all of that I just want to knw how big "dimples" are. Does what's happening to my eggs sound normal?
If anyone has a pic of "dimples" on eggs that would be really helpful.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
