Spider Clutch
I hatched out my first morph clutch this year, and I am pretty excited! LOL Pairing was a normal female X spider male. 7 good eggs, and all have now hatched. Wound up with 0.3 normals and 2.2 spiders.
(Please ignore the Ns and Ss on the eggs--I was candling them a week before hatching, trying to see what was in them. On four eggs I was able to make out something, and made my guesses--I was right on all four of them, though! )

This last little girl threw me for a loop . . . she looks nothing like her normal mother, or her spider "father". She looks like a spitting image of my het albino male. I suppose it's possible that my female could have retained sperm, but if so, she retained it for two years, as I gave her last year off! For selling purposes, she'll be labeled a normal, but I almost wonder if there's a chance she's carrying an albino gene. LOL

Possible Dad? . . . you can decide for yourself. LOL
