So I rescued two adult BPs a year ago. Never had an issue with feeding the female, she will eat live/pk/ft. The male on the other hand, took a few FT when he was fully recovered from a respiratory infection but began refusing after a month or so. SO I moved him into a tub and kept offering FT, but every time I opened his tub he became more pre occupied with escaping and never went into feeding mode. SO after three or four months I switched him to live and got maybe 6 or 7 meals in him before he started to refuse those as well.

Well my mom kicked me out yesterday and now my snakes have a room all to theirselves. They were in my bedroom before, which was pretty high traffic. Today I noticed he wasn't cruising AT ALL. Which wasn't normal behavior for him so I dropped a rat in... Took him a good ten minutes and a failed attempt at striking but he did take the rat which was AWESOME.

So, in conclusion, Zeus does not like high traffic areas. Once he is steadily taking a rat every feeding day I will attempt to switch him to FT. I really thought the move would do a number on him, but quite the opposite actually! I was even saying "Jeez it's gonna be tough getting Zeus back on feed," this morning! Nice to be proven wrong sometimes.
