What are the ingredients needed to make this Purple Passion produced by NERD?

    It's either a Mojave/Phantom or NERD's Super Phantom.

There are people here that will tell you one way or the other is right, but really you'd have to ask NERD, and considering they dont like to spill the beans there is a good likelihood that to find out what it is you'll be blowing 15k on snakes from them before they open their mouths.

Unless NERD says what it is all we have to go off of are people's Phantom/Mojaves, which look like Purple Passions.

ive just read it once that it is a super phantom, but i read tons of threads or saw pics were they say that purples are phantom mojos.

and from the pure look, i pretty sure they are. look nothin like a super phantom hatchling.

Add other stuff into mojos and see what you get. I will be breeding my phantom to a mojave spider and should get passions, mojo spiders, mojos, phantoms, phantom spiders, and if I am lucky get a spider passion.

Them bred to mojaves make a similar snake.

The mystic to mojave is to produce the Mystic Potion and he Phantom to mojave is to make a purple passion.

I currently am breeding a Phantom this season trying to get the Purple passion next season once my female mojo is of size.

If you go to the page at the link below on Exotics By Nature’s Site of the 2007 Tinley Park Show and scroll down to NERD’s listing you will see the Purple Passion, the Red Spectrum, the Enchi Inferno, and some other really cool stuff. Almost all of those Balls with the exception or the Killer Blast are Hidden Gene Woma combos. I have always been under the impression that the Purple Passion is also. All of the speculation I have found while doing a Google search for Purple Passion being a NERD line Phantom / Mojave cross has never been substantiated by any one from NERD. The post above done by Oxylepy shows some of the speculation listed in various posts, but no actual facts.

Rabernet (Robin) was close with Kara at the time of this post so she may have some inside information so maybe it is a NERD line Super Phantom but it is improbable that it is a Phantom / Mojave cross. I personally think it is a Hidden Gene Woma combo and will continue to do so until someone that actually knows for sure tells me different.

It appears I was totally wrong. Kevin from NERD posted the information at the following link over on Kingsnake claiming that he was the first to produce the RDR Phantom x Mojave.

Well then it seems that that wraps things up nicely. Thank you NERD for hiding your genetics and telling people "lol already did that" when they finally produce the animals themselves.

and after writing all that i noticed its a really really old zombie thread from 2010. please just close it. these zombie threads are starting to freak me out.

make a different thread to ask for the price. one that does not contain old confusion about what-is-what from 2010.

    --------------------
    --------------------------------------

the way i see it its quite simple.

purple passion = phantom + mojave. its an allelic combo in the BEL complex.

mystic potion = mystic + mojave. and because mystic and phantom are basically almost identical, if not the same gene, as in different lines of the same morph, you could say mystic potion = purple passion.

there is a lot of variation in that morph. some have more side pattern, some have less, some are completely patternless.

for example, Brian Gundy has these beautiful goldblush mojaves, and the goldblush mystic potion he produced is completely patternless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjU0KR7sizw

so all you need is mojave, and the second ingredient is mystic or phantom. and the result has a bit of randomness, but i think they are all awesome, and the qualty of the mojave / mystic / phantom that you put into it also has an effect.

when you dont worry about a specific line that limits your choices and just look for a nice mystic potion OR purple passion, prices are reasonable. many people produce them or try to produce them. and, yes, super mystic / super phantom kinda look like mystic potion / purple passion, so thats another way to get rather similar optics. and they all reach a whole different level of awesomeness if you manage to add enchi.

    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...e-corcra-ball/

(sometimes NERD likes to confuse things and to brand their own lines, for a while they managed to convince people that to produce a soulsucker, you must use NERD-line lessers and that it wont work otherwise, which were really really expensive, and as it turned out, any lesser or butter does the job. its all just marketing tactics. i would recommend to not get suckered in, just get some nice mystics or phantoms and some nice mojave and go ahead and try to hit mystic potion / purple passion / super mystic / super phantom, and you will get awesome stuff and wont be disappointed.)
