Had to share, getting my MC license

My hubby and I started our motorcycle safety course Thursday night. The course provides bikes and helmets to use if needed and since I have never driven before, it's perfect. We spent yesterday morning doing excercises on the bikes in the pouring rain and I did pretty well. I did however lock my front brakes and skid twice during the hard braking excercise after having been rained on for an hour or more and getting really cold. I luckily did not go down either time. Today we have excercises all morning and our test/evaluation this afternoon. No rain today hopefully and if we pass, we can go to DMV and get our licenses! Then we can start looking for bikes and after we have been on our own bikes for about six months, we can take the experienced rider course and then eventually the advanced rider course all of which are designed to help teach you how to be prepared for anything. Please keep your fingers crossed for us and wish us luck for today.

    Good luck!
Sounds like a good course, you can't be too safe on a motorcycle.
I haven't ridden in years and really miss it...I keep telling myself I will get another bike some day.
