    Black snakes?

Hello everybody. My 5yo son just recently asked me for his own snake. He told me he wanted a black snake. So since I was in the market for a new snake anyway I figuered ill get a black snake. I will be caring for it myself ad have my son help out with it. So my question is what are some solid black snakes that are available? I would like a super cinny but I know they are expensive. Any info would be greatfull. Thanks in advance.

I don't think I've seen an all black ball python but there are black king snakes. Since he is 5years old he would probably love anything you got as soon as you said it was his and wouldn't even care if it wasn't black or not.

I second the black milk snake. Or a Mexican Black King.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think im leaning towards the black milk but you never know what he will decide on next. You know how kids are lol. As for the black bp I thought a super cinny was a black snake with a white belly. I could be wrong though.

I'll chime with over the top black snakes...Indigo's and Boelen's are my top picks...But that's for me...

I like the Mexican Black King snakes although I move a lot slower than they do.

    Re: Black snakes?

I would probably go for the black milk snake. All of the mexican blacks that I have met are pretty nippy. And that's not a fun way to learn about snakes when you are 5!

Yes, any snake can be nippy, but these guys have an excellent feeding response. Even when you don't want them to!
