I just broke my 2.0 exo terra UVB light.... does this light contain mercury like the new energy saving bulbs do?? We are sitting outside my house while I try and find answers but I can't find them anywhere.
Thanks!!

I believe that all fluorescent (including the energy saving compact fluorescent) bulbs contain mercury.

ya but I seriously doubt it has enough mercury to do much health damage to you, but make sure your animals are away from it!

there is a very small drop in bulbs not enough to do any harm to you, we used to play with the tubes back in the day breaking them over eachothers backs and what not. nothing bad has ever happend to us.
