Like his neck is making a C/S shape? If so I read its normal. I think the reason they do it cause they get spooked from something.

No its not like he jerking back his head, as hes slithering along his head rises and starts to go backwards and he flips around and keeps doing that. Ill have to take a video or picture to show you properly.

Our full grown male bp does this sometimes. He does it when he's exploring or we're handling him and he wants to see something in the opposite direction but doesn't want to turn his head left or right. He'll just be chilling and then he'll put his head upside down and then roll his body so he's right side up but still facing the other direction.

a video would be helpful. it sounds like something neurological. i just hope its not IBD, if it is u need to separate him from the reat of ur snakes and take him to the vet.

    Hi,

Before the panic sets in remember there are other causes of neurological issues aside from IBD.

Some normals can have the same wobble that is seen in spiders - it's just rare.

    Overheating can cause neurological problems.

Some parasites can cause it and stargazing as well.
