    Good food Choice?

    Crude Protein - 15%
    Lysine(min)- .85%
    Crude Fat(min)- 3%
    Cride Fiber(max)- 4%
    Calcium(min)- 1%
    Calcium(max)-1.5%
    Phosphorus(min)- .65%
    Salt(min)-.4%
    Salt(max)-.9%
    Selenium(min)-.3000 PPM
    Zinc(min)- 80.000 PPM

    Ingredients- Grain PRoducts, Processed Grain Byproducts, Plant protein products, animal fat preserved with ethoxyquin , Calcium carbonate, molasses products, dicalcium phosphate, momcalcium phosphate, rouphage products, sa;t, l-lysine, chlorine chloride, copper sulfate, menadione dimethylpyrimidinol bisulfite, e supplement, calcium pantothenate, vitamin b12, riboflavin supplement, biotin, soybean oil, zinc oxide, ferrous carbonate, manganous oxide, vitamin d3, ferrous sulfate, calcium iodate, sodium selenite.

    It looks okay protein wise, but the fat is a bit low.
    Another big thing is the fact that ethoxyquin is listed as a preservative. Ethoxyquin is known, anecdotally, to be the cause of cancer, other health problems, and birth defects in dogs, health problems in birds, and death in crabs and other insects (in fact, it's used as a pesticide too), so I, personally, would never feed any animal food with ethoxyquin listed as a preservative. Google it if you're interested.

    petco has a food called kaytee forti diet pro health w/ DHA & omega-3. im buying that in bulk from onlinepetdepot.com. it does not contain ethoxyquin.
