Re: what x what = ?
Yeah, Cinnamon or Black Pastel x Pastel makes a Pewter.
Black Pewter lets you know that a Black Pastel was used to make the Pewter and not a Cinnamon.
Some people say that Black Pastels and Cinnamons are the same.
I disagree, and I hate seeing one advertised as the other.

They are "similar" like mojo and butter are "similar" to each other.
They are not the same and I don't see people calling them the same

i see people getting confused with a lesser and butter................ the same as they get confused when they see a black pastel and a cinny

The pastel x black pastel makes a black pewter.
And as far as one being labeled the other... Some black pastels look like classic black pastels. Some look line cinnamons.
Some cinnys look like a standard cinny, others look like black pastels.
http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...n+black+pastel this thread is a GREAT example of how similar the two morphs can be.
I believe that the lesser and butter, and cinnamon and black pastel are two different but compatible strains of the same mutation.

I agree.
BUT there ARE clear examples of Black Pastels and Cinnys that look nothing alike. Butters and Lessers are harder to distinguish even between two great examples of each.
