    Same room as rats?

Just wondering if anyone keeps their ball pythons in the same room as their rat colony? If so do you have any issues with agression?

Many people do this and have no problems with aggression.

    Re: Same room as rats?

We do so, and cannot recognize any more "aggression" than "usual". Of cours, if you grab into the wet box in the evening, might happen that the snakes snap, but i dont think that has anything to do with the rats/mice in the room.
    best regards, Timo

    Re: Same room as rats?

I keep them in the same room and don't have any problems with the aggresion just there feeding response. Seems to me that since I have started doing this that when I open there tub they automaticly come up looking for food since the room is dented with the rats. They don't strike at me there behavior when I open them up has changed. Not every time and not every snake but I have noticed that.
