    stupid mistake. Need help.

I just bought an ornate horned frog at the expo this weekend. Well once I got home I was sort of in a rush to get him set up in his new home. I used that coco fiber substrate, the kind that comes compressed into a brick. Well in my haste to get everything setup I used regular tap water to soak the substrate. Now he's been in there for a few ours now. I just realized my mistake a few minutes ago and figured I would ask before doing anything drastic. Now to my question will he be ok for now or should I take him out and go buy some bottled water and redo his setup. Thanks.

Unless your water is really bad he should be fine. I keep both an ornate and a pixie in tap water. I've been using tap for a long time. Your water may be more acid or alkaline but your frog should be ok.

You heard correctly. He will be fine with what you did, but from now on always treat the water first. Keeping them in regular tap water is unhealthy for many reasons.
