So I went and picked up a 40 gallon breeder today from the $1 per gallon sale at Petco, I really dont need it but for the price I just couldnt pass it up. So now I am thinking of moving my Ball to the 40 gallon since its a more apropriate size for an adult Ball than a 75. But it will be nice to have an extra tank for when I get a 2nd Ball....but, her is my question...since a 40 gallon breeder is perfect for an adult Ball, being all glass, easier to heat, easier to control humidity, uses less substrate..etc. Will moving him to the 40 stress him out alot, or cause any other problems ? I dont want to move him into a new tank and risk him going off feed or something, its really no big deal since he is happy in the 75, if it will stress him alot I will just save the 40 gallon for another Ball, since I do want another one anyway. But if I do move him into the 40 I would like to sell the 75 and buy another 40 breeder...I just dont know what to do, it sure is nice to see him stretched out in that 75, although thats usualy only at feeding time, lol.
I just ordered a new UTH since mine burned up, and I cant decide on what tank to stick it on, I also have a 24 quart bag of substrate coming, wich isnt enough for the 75 (I forgot to change the quantity of my order). I need to decide before my order arrives.
Any thoughts or opinions on what I should do ?
