This is sort of a cool thing, we all know how sensitive our BP's are sensitive to vibrations and of course just how picky they can be eating well I have discovered this new way of feeding that works for me.

First off my fat lazy 3yr old female "Morphine" is one lazy beast she will nto even bother striking a FT mouse at all its like a cat falling asleep in its food dish! So saying she is lazy and docile is accurate! Now my girl will not even eat Rats at all, ive tried and tried over the years and no chance I think it is the scent, so trying to find big enough adult jumbo mice is a task as well.

So over the last year or so creating movement from hemostats to dangle the Mouse or move it anythign to catch the attention no deal she prefers it dropped by her one hide sticks her head out and eats, what I have discovered i drop on the over side of the enclosure which is about 38 inches long and I just tap twice with my finger underneath by the UTH and *WHAM!!! she strikes it everytime for supper. we know they are quite deaf but a great sensitivty to vibrations and it gets her fed everytime now

Just thought I would share this method with all, i was surprised when it happened and my girl only eats about once every two weeks and has about a two month fast from December till end of Jan in the cold months living here in Vancouver.
