    Exclamation Wtf!?

So I was browsing local ads for reptiles and happened across this picture!

I don't know wtf is going on, I think that the rat is alive as the listing said she will include the rat for free. Isn't this extreamly dangerous for the BP? I mean i'm assuming the only reason the rat is still alive is because it's too big for the ball.

Yes, it is dangerous. I've heard of people just leaving live rodents in and then letting them and the snake live together for months because they just never tried to eat each other. I wouldn't trust the damned things.

    Very dangerous

But come on, the first thing I thought was the snake and rat were cuddling.

As did I, however; I've seen WAAAY too many photos of what can happen to a ball if the food is left alive and unattended.

    Re: Wtf!?

I've seen pics like this on other forums and the owner claiming that the rat and snake were buddies.

    Re: Wtf!?

    Ha ha, they each other!

Maybe contact the owner and say that it isn't safe?

How does a rat (or mouse) live months with a snake, without rodent food?

    Re: Wtf!?

Well, I think they kept them together as pets.

    Re: Wtf!?

I certainly hope they're not living together - but I guess some people are that stupid!

Although here's a similar shot of Delilah "cuddling" with a rat, back when I first got her... turns out she won't eat rats (mice only), but we only left this pup in her tank for an hour or so.
