I had some mommas die... ????

    2 rats and a mouse.
all 3 had litters when they died.
all 3 were in seperate tubs.
    These were first time mommas.
the two momma rats litters were fuzzies as were the mouse litter at the time of the moms death..
    All three looked totaly drained.
fresh water and food is/was readly available.
    Tempiture was/is around 76/75.

i have had probably 20 rat litters with out problems.
This was my first mouse litter.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

    thank you
    Bill

Sounds like everythings right... Maybe bad genes? How many are you keeping in what size tub? Sometimes over crowding can cause death.
    Sorry I couldn't help out.
