Spring 2010 Edmonton Reptile Show: DUW

Hello everyone! I thought I would share a few (read: Many) of the not so lovely pictures of very lovely reptiles I took while I had a quick visit to this springs reptile show!












The specimen on the left was, quite obviously, the most awesome reptile available at the show. Look how it mimics a stuffed mouse!

Whew. Gosh, that was quite a bit more than I though I had. well, that's all. There were, of course, many many more reptiles/ect I did not get a chance t take pictures of. All in all, it was a fun time. Even if I did just end up coming home with a book.

Wow! Sweet photos! Those were great to look at... Really makes me want to go to a reptile show. I used to have leopard geckos when i was kid... Seeing those brought back memories!

That black boa. I...MUST...HAVE

I can only guess that it is one of the Mexican mountain species...

Thank you for the replies! Yes, that black boa was a beaut, but I'm afraid I neglected to take note of what the tag said, and unfortunately it didn't show up on the picture. It was even more iridescent in real life.

I'm glad I at least had something to share, being currently reptile-less. But not for too much longer, I hope! I have my eye on picking something up at the 2011 Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo in Mississaugua, which is conveniently close to where I will be living for the next 4-5 years...
