Light Box Pics

I decided to break out the light box this morning to shoot a few pictures. I think I finally got some good pictures of my pinstripe for once. I've been still struggling to get my white balance just right. I'm still getting a slight blue cast on my shots, which I've been adjusting in Aperture 3.

It's so much easier to shoot hatchlings over adults. One of these days I'm going to invest in a nice macro lens. It think it may help. Any lens suggestions for a Nikon D3000.
