Talking Two New Buddies (Mice), And My Rat

Well, today I was supposed to feed my Blood pythons. I got four hoppers, as usual. The white one with red eyes is the most calm and sweetest, and he's a male. So.. I got attached. The other smaller, light-grey mouse is pretty calm too, I just couldn't feed her off. I feel bad that each Blood only got one mouse, but since I'm sort of getting into rodents, the difficult feeding begins.

I had some friends over and both of them named each of the mice.

Say hello to Mr. Jingles (yeah.. I know...)

And Pewter Cewk (Cewk means cook, just pronounced in a funny way as our inside joke)

My rat, Rocco (seemed that name fits him), needed a photo too. He's gotten huge since the last photo I posted of him.

They are definitely adorable, Mr. Jingles dropped 3 dog logs on my friend's hand LOL. Pewter Cewk is tiny, but so cute. I think those are the weirdest yet funniest names. I'm gonna have them name every mouse or rat I get now.

And when I breed the mice I'm supposed to give them one of the babies since they got to name my mice.

Ha ha, maybe you should change his name to Mr. Dingles? LOL.

My friend would probably be so mad that I renamed "his" mouse LOL. Mr. Jingles is pretty random though, it was the first thing that came to his mind.

Mr jingles, Are you going to send him to mouseville, down in florida, Tallahassee i believe, Right down the road apiece from the dog university, And there's, like, this whole city made out of Bakelite boxes and toilet-paper rolls, with windows made out of isinglass so you can see what they're up to in there!!!! OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH god, dont forget about MOUSEVILLE!!!!!

They're all cute, but in the end....they're all still food.

Btw...those don't look a bit like hoppers to me, especially the first one, its way to big. Looks more like an adult and a weaned.

Yeah I guess so, I'd probably cry if I had to feed off Rocco because of old age. He's so sweet, I never thought of owning any rodents until I came here. My hand was in his cage and I was taking out the substrate from his food dish and he and sniffing it and standing on it and coming up to it. Too cute.

And yeah, but lemme tell ya, Pewter Cewk can hop when she wants to LOL. She doesn't really hop once you've got her settled in your hand, she just gets a little scared when you are trying to fish her out of her tub.
