how long are you leaving the males in with the females? Tail wagging is usually a good sign she is wanting to mate, you just need to make sure you are leaving the males in for usually 3 days on and 3 days off usually trying to feed both male and female in that time off... that way they dont get worn out... and sometimes it takes a few weeks of doing this before you will notice them locking and sometimes you might not even see them locking...

    I'd wait until next season.
Your female is border line weight. Big enough, yes. But she will probably give you a better clutch if you feed her good and try breeding in the fall. IMO
I start pairing on November 1st.

2ays is the longest I guess I was hoping it would happend automatic. Sometimes weeks sounds like a long time but might need to try it. I just know my male was 940 and now hes like 800 and something. Picky eater that guy has turned to be for me. He ate about a week ago but he will sometimes go a month with out food. Just hope that doesnt make it harder. As far as I know this gurl gave out a nice clutch of 7 only 5 hatched, five eggs is good enough for her. What about the young guys think I should leave them in for awhile also and see what happens?

When did your female last lay eggs?

Did your male become a picky eater after you started pairing him?

Ive heard of some breeders taking a sperm plug from another male and using that to get him in the mood by making him think if he doesnt another male will. I could be wrong but I believe that they rub the plug on the neck of the female. Also Personally I believe that they are ready when they start producing sperm plugs.

I've also heard of putting another male's shed skin in with the pair to get a slow starter interested.

    Worth a shot, I guess.

She bred and layed last season not this one that just passed. He became a picky eater b4 the breeding I thought he was telling me he loved what he smelled. Never got to see sperm plugs at least not in my mojave. Like I said I never let him stay with her for a week or weeks at a time, just wondering if I do that do I pull the hides and clean the urine she leaves in there or just leave everything in there???

Your male seems like hes on the younger side too. That sometimes will have an effect when it comes to breeding. Seems like the problem lies with your male. The male I bred to my female late in the season this year was the same age as her. No problems and expecting eggs to drop any day now.

Also, you are kind of going against the grain in trying to breed in the off season. Some ppl can breed out of season, but the success storys I heard about they were from full adults males averaging in the good 1400-1800 gram range. I wouldn't bother with trying to breed in the off season and just wait till Nov. You will have much better luck and the odds more in your favor.
