Enigma wobbling?

I have been looking into getting some leos and have been reading a little about the enigma gene. I have heard there is wobbling or spinning associated with this gene just like the spider morph of the ball python but to a different extreme. People have said that it can sometimes even be life threatening!? Has anyone experianced these problems with the enigma gene and how often does an enigma enherit these "spinning" traits?

I spoke with Garrick DeMeyer from Crestedgecko.com and I really liked the way the enigmas look, but he told me that they all have the problem. Some have it more severe than others just as the spiders do.

I've worked with a bunch of enigmas and I had a lot of problems with spinning. Over the past couple years I have produced around 35-50 enigmas and almost every single one would spin. About 50% of them suffered from some health problem (many of them were runts out of the egg and were VERY slow to take on any weight and continue to be poor feeders). About 1 in 4 wouldn't live past the first couple months.

Maybe I just had really bad luck. You may not encounter any of these problems but it was bad enough for me that I had to get out of enigmas. It's a shame because I really like what you can do with enigmas but I just couldn't keep producing unhealthy animals
