    Another Morning Herp trip...Killer Speckled

I went out my favorite local spot today and not even 5 minutes into my hike, I spotted this really nice speckled king...probably the nicest I have seen in the wild. Enough of the talk...time for the pictures.

Some other pictures from this morning...

There are even more on my blog if you are interested.

If you are ever out this way on a weekend, give me a call. I live about 5 minutes down the road from the WMA so I am out in the Pearl River Management Area almost every Saturday and Sunday morning (unless I manage to get away to go somewhere else).

I don't really 'herp' most of the time though....I just walk trails. There is so much wildlife out there that it is hard not to come across something.
