I've never owned a Cham, but I believe they usually change color according to mood and it happens more gradually than what is depicted in the video.

i own a veiled and they change color depending on mood, stress and temperature, most lizard species have this capability, chams can really only go from light and bright to dark and bland. The idea where they an change color depending on their background is a joke.

Its fake Panther Chameleon males will display similair colors as shown in that video. They are pretty vibrant! They won't just change color that dramatically though XD
