After cutting eggs.

Do you guys move the eggs to a tub with wet paper towls or let them come out of thier eggs then move them?

let them come out on their own, or else they will get hardbelly which, from what i know, is fatal. after you cut, just let them absorb the yolk on their own time, keep the humidity up too. someone more experienced will chime in soon.

I let them crawl out of the eggs in their egg tubs in the incubator. Then once they are out I rinse them in a bowl of luke warm water and place them in a container in a rack with papertowel substrate and water bowls. I place the entire clutch together into one bin until they shed then they get their own seperate containers.

I don't cut eggs until they are in the mid 50's day range. I leave them in the same egg box. I use glad press n seal so at this time, I replace the press n seal with the top that has a couple small air holes in it. I do this if they peep first also. after they absorb their yolks and come totally out of the egg. I move them to the hatchling rack, 6 qt sterilite tubs with the select-a-sheet paper towel (fits perfect) I make it very damp. This stays wet until their first shed. few days after the first shed I start offering live feed every few days. once the hatchling starts to eat, it is offer food every 5 days. after it taken food 5 times without any concerns it then could be sold. I give the hatchling at least 30 days depending on the look of the snake (health wise) to feed on it's own before assist feeding. And yes I had hatchlings feed around 30 days just before doing this on their own. So when a hatchling doesn't feed right away and at a normal weight for a hatchling, don't panic. if you get a hatchling that weight is in the 20 gram zone, then I don't wait as long to get it to eat.
