Breeding Plans ... Your opinion ?

    Hey everyone,

So i am ordering a Bumblebee(female) and in a year i will buy a Lesser(male) and breed them when they are ready,
    To produce the precious Queenbee's
So they will be married and stay togetter forever. ( no groupsex )

Then i will keep a Female ( probebly a Queenbee ) and buy a new male for her.
( no inbreeding done here )

Now i would like your opinions on what morphs i could go for next with the offspring ?
( pairings, posible future morphs, what male to buy, etc... )

ps: pls keep this on topic.
(Ntume i know its hard), but this is only a question for the future. So i have an idea.

Personally. I'm a huge fan of Spider Mojo's... and ALL cinny crosses. If I were you I would toss a Spider Mojo with that Queen Bee female that you might have soon. The possibilities would be endless. You could even produce LUCY'S!

Just my .02 on the subject.

Re: Breeding Plans ... Your opinion ?

I would definitely breed the QueenBee with some double dominant male that includes Pinstripe. Like a LemonBlast, Enchi Pin or Cinnamon Pi, or something along those lines. I personally would not breed a male that contained any of the White snake complex genes in it, to avoid producing white snakes that may contain many other genes that aren't visible. That would make them hard to price without breeding them to confirm their true genetics. However, you could use something that contained the Black eyed Lucy complex, such as Fire or Sulfur. I would think a Fire Pinstripe might be a good male to breed to a QueenBee. Just a couple tidbits to chew on.

Good luck with your long term project,

Re: Breeding Plans ... Your opinion ?

Personally, I would worry about hitting the queenbee before bothering trying to figure out your next move. It's not easy to hit a triple codom the way you are planning on doing it (especially when you are hoping for a female). If my math is right, the odds of hitting a female queenbee with the pairing you describe is only 6.25%. To improve your odds a little I would either get a pastel lesser male, or a super lesser. If not you could be chasing that female queenbee for a long time.

    Good luck either way.

Yeah its only for the future ... to get an idea of what i could do
but you are right on that !
A male Queenbee would be fine to ... then my other morph will be a female.
( to me its not that a big of a deal )

    Bumblebee x Lesser
    so the %% =
    12.5%: Normal
    12.5%: Pastel
    12.5%: Spider
    12.5%: Pastel, Spider
    12.5%: Lesser Platinum
    12.5%: Lesser Platinum, Pastel
    12.5%: Lesser Platinum, Spider
    12.5%: Queenbee

I should be able to get a Queen in +-3 clutches wont i ???
I know its like gambling and i could even produce only normals ... but i have high hopes

I know people that have bred for 2 gene combos and even supers for years and are just now hitting the odds.. Nothing is for sure.. You might hit 3 your first year and then you might need 5 years to hit one.
