    Shedding Frequency

We have had our BP since Early March, It has shed 4 times since then, usually in bits and pieces but the one today was almost a single piece, The snake is growing rapidly it has grown by about 50% since arrival and has an appetite like a fat kid at a buffet, full size mice (frozen) taken every 5'ish days and I'm thinking of going to small rats soon. I am curious if this frequency of shedding is normal and if it is related more to growth than specific times of the year.

    Re: Shedding Frequency

From what I've managed to gather in my short time here, it's all about the growth of the snake, and there isn't really a normal frequency.

    Re: Shedding Frequency

I agree it is related to growth younger growing bp's will shed more frequently than an adult.
