I didnt really think the bill was that big of a deal intel i really looked into it, there are alot of people voting for the python ban to go into effect. It's really sad to hear... What are your thoughts on the bill, are you in fear for your larger snakes?

I know they claim to only list the 9 large constrictors, but the reality is it's more like 19. The term "Boa Constrictor is all inclusive. It doesn't differentiate between BCC, BCI, or the locale specific dwarf species. So all of the 5 foot dwarves will be banned right along side the 10 foot Peruvians. The politicians don't care because this is just a stepping stone to set a precedence for others to follow. My opinion is that they are determined to basically get all non-native species banned whether it be all at once or incrementally...

Any federal or state bill such as this could ultimately hand the reptile community their asses if passed so ya its a really big deal.
