ok so i did a mock setting up of my brb tub. its just a 26qt plastic tub, but im getting a bigger one. anyway the spot i have it makes it possible to receive belly heat from the snakes tank below him. with out any UTH the temp was 84 on the hot side( i let it sit for an hour to get to a consistent heat) i put one of my UTH on, waited an hour, and only 3-4 degree increase, i put my good one on and it went up to 95 witch i know is too hot!!! either way humidity was only readying 40% but the probe was underneath the substrate, you could see all the water gathered on the side of the tub right now im testing the humidity in the air...

the point of this thread, is to ask how to get a lower heat? with no UTH its 84 but not much humitity, my lil UTH was 85 and humitiy was still low with misting and my good UTH it was almost 100 in there what to do?
