Wild snake bites vs. captive breed

this may be the dumbest question the forum has ever seen, since we have probelly more chickens than we do family members, there is always a black snake( king-racer- plain black) of some sort in the pin, i try to move them but my aunt, if she can beat me to it shoots, them, its always a battle if were both down there, anyway is there a differance in bites, well more of an infectuous problem i prosume, cause as a kid i heard if a black snake tags you, you will get deathly ill, im guessing than was to keep me away from them, since i loved snakes since a kid, but whats your response.

ps, i also heard the rumor of cross breeding with venomous, and the black become veomous as well, god some wives tails

The color of the snake doesn't make any difference in regards to infections/venom. Of course a wild snake's mouth is probably not as clean as a captive, but you should wash bites well in either situation.

As for cross breeding... yea... it's as silly as you think it is.

i was using a black snake as an example, so not diferance except cleaness of mouth.

I think you would have a better chance of getting tagged by a wild snake, but I don't think they would be any more infectious than a captive snake.

Neither brush their teeth. I think that really should settle any debate.
