    Interesting scents?

Have any of your bp's, or any other snakes you have owned ever seemed really interested in a scent they've picked up? I work with other reptiles, and when I get home I make sure to wash myself clean of anything my snakes might pick up, but when I handle them sometimes they'll find one part of my hand or arm or somewhere on my shirt and basically scent it like they've found something they wanna get a better whiff of. It's almost like they're scenting a rodent, only not in an agressive way.

    It tickles, too.

    Re: Interesting scents?

well yesterday my normal girl seemed very interested in smelling a recently used dish on my desk. She was smelling it for a good 2-3 minutes....

It is so funny when they get on something. I think this was posted here a long time ago but it is a classic (I hope this post works....)

    That's cute to watch.

To OP, yes I've had them catch a scent that they want a better wiff of. Sometimes if it's a perfume (I never wear it, but friend do and it gets on me) they'll go for a better smell, and then recoil right back and go elsewhere.
