    Flashlight for candling

Here is a little hint that I just recently discovered that I hope some might find useful. I was in office depot the other day buying printer ink and while waiting to checkout I noticed a display of flashlights for only $3.99, these are the short stubby flashlights with high intensity LED's instead of a bulb, this one has 9 LED's and uses 3 AAA batteries, the batteries even came with it.

I've always used a Mini-maglight for candling my eggs, and never really had a good view inside the egg other then to see whether or not they had veins. I tried this new flashlight today and was surprised to see how much better it worked then the maglight. It's at least 10 times better, everything inside the egg was very clear and distinct. I'm very happy with this discovery and you just can't beat the price. Here is what it looks like in case anyone wants to get one for themselves.
