    Florida should really start an "exotic for cash" program like with guns. They didn't even mention that it could have...*gasp* escaped!

    The tegu is known to go inside gopher-tortoise burrows and dig out mice and tortoise eggs. They are omnivorous and have a taste for native plants and small rodents, which are food for Florida snakes and raptors.
    I'll bet they would find a nest of Burmese Python eggs tasty as well, but they won't ever say that...

    Well if they do take action, lets hope it's quick and they don't ignore it like they did with the Burmese. Then it won't turn into a huge deal.
