Why do you think your snake is backed up? They can go up to 5-6 weeks without pooping with no ill effects. You shouldn't be forcing your snake to poop... They will poop when they need to.

Ya, I have one snake, perfectly healthy 08 female who defecates every two weeks without fail. 2 meals between. No trouble.

How long has it been? As stated above, they can go a while without pooping to no ill effect.
There should be no reason to soak unless it's been over that large amount of time.
Continue feeding, they'll normally continue pooping. Provide water to drink, not bathe in.

Best way to get them to poop is to feed them... gotta come out sometime.

Or put on your best clothes, preferably white, ensure you are ready to go out and have only moments to spare.

Then pick up the snakes and I guarantee you`ll be dodging fecal matter in seconds.

Or hand them to a friend to hold that is the same as the above.

I agree, as soon as I clean their tubs, they will take a dump. they won't do it before the cleaning!

Re: how I get my bp to poop.

Personally, I think there's nothing wrong with just letting the snake go when it wants to go. They don't really need "help" in that department. However...if you're about to go out on vacation for a few days or maybe you have company coming over in a couple days and don't want to risk a poorly-timed stinky surprise....it's a fine idea to give them a little soak and see if they'll clean out in a more convenient time.
