    Question infra red lamps

    should i use one as well as a thermostat and are there any good brands

    If you don't need the lamp (your temps are high enough) then don't get one. They tend to dry out the air and make it hard to keep high humidity which leads to bad sheds.

    A thermostat is a must have with any heating device, ESPECIALLY a UTH. The cheapest one out there is the reptitemp 500r. It works well for single setups but isn't very fancy. I have one on my BRBs enclosure and it has been working great. If you only have one snake, a reptitemp 500r will be fine.
