    Shed Preservation Question

Hey everyone! Superman had his first shed with us. It's really neat looking, with his markings on it, so we want to preserve it somehow. Do any of you know a good way?

    Thanks!

The one and only shed I kept I put in a plastic bag. If you leave it out it will dry out and break apart.

    Re: Shed Preservation Question

I dry them carefully (you can't leave a damp shed on a surface for long, or it will stick), then I roll them up and put them in plastic baggies.

It might be possible to laminate them.

Poster board, tacks and hairspray... Get the thick posterboard with the styrofoam in it and tack the shed to it all stretched out and spray it down with the hairspray let it dry and spray it a few more times.

Serious question here, and not meant to be disrepectful in any way, but why would you want to keep the snakes dry skin?

    Re: Shed Preservation Question

Thanks everyone! For now it will go into a plastic baggie until I can find someone cool to mount it on.

polyurethane would probably work better but hair spray might be cheaper
