I have had my ball pythons since December. I am up to 10 snakes now, and i haven't had any health problems with any of them at all up until now. A few weeks back my gf's ball python started to get scale rot, which in the end required her snake to recieve shots for a period of time. I bought a het pied male for her on Feb 25th. I had the snake in my care for at least a month and a half, and when she took the snake to her house it started to get scale rot too. We have checked the temperatures, humidity, substrate and cleaned out the tanks on a daily basis but they still got scale rot. When she left on a cruise I took the H.pied into my care and cleaned its belly with iodine then rubbed thermezene on the belly. I was doing this for a about week and still now improvement but all the scales stoped falling off and he went threw shed and got better. But then i started to notice on 1 of my babies that there were 2 thick brown scab like patches under her mouth that looked like dried wax. I had bought some antibiotics and applied it to her and it seemed as though it was getting better. Then one day i come home and top layer of her belly scales were almost completely gone. Then the next day i started to notice it on all the other snakes as well. Even the two ball pythons i have in a entirely separate room are starting to get it. I haven't changed anything as far as handling my snakes since i first got them. I always sanitize before I handle each of them. There have been some occurrences of prolonged exposure to feces and urine, but no more than there has ever been since i got them. My main concern is that ALL of them contracted it within the same week, in a consecutive order ( about 1 every half day or so). Pls help i am very concerned about the health of all my snakes and i am trying to arrange vet visits but taking 10 snakes in at the same time is a little costly. I will post pics of each snakes set up and condition later.
Thank You
