    Snake Dreams

I keep fish and snakes, and sometimes me or my husband will have dreams involving them. A frequent dream included fish swimming around the house through the air.
Now that I'm getting a BRB, I have had my first rainbow boa dream. This involved an enclosure in which I had (*never* would do this in real life) two deeply pregnant BRBs and a Lucy Rat snake. The BRBs gave birth to about a hundred baby boas, and the rat snake ate them ALL! I was sooooo upset!

Anyway, post your pet dreams here if you dare

    Re: Snake Dreams

What's weird is that my snake dreams are rarely good. There are always a lot of snakes and they're attacking me.

    Re: Snake Dreams

In my snake dreams, usually my cages have holes in them and my snakes try and escape through them. Sometimes I'm just carrying them because they have no cage and I know I'll lose them if I put them down...other times I'll dream of multiple snakes in the same cage, then something like the eating each other will happen.....wow, nightmares!

Ya, I always have the nightmare that they got out and I always wake up very startled. I also tend to dream about just walking around my house or the neighbourhood and finding the craziest morphs, or just insane looking snakes just balled up on the lawn or slithering across my feet and I catch them and I am SO excited!

    Re: Snake Dreams

The only dreams I have of my animals or similer animals are always bad. I have had a couple dreams of my first BP "Thunder". In them she is always in trouble. Either she got out or something is after her etc.. Im always trying to save her or protect her.

As for fish, my dad got me started on aquariums. I have had this dream a few times. In the dream there are huge aquariums in my garage. 2 or 3 giant display tanks. One is almost floor to rafters and cylindrical in shape. The other is long and rectangular. There is always one or two other smaller tanks sitting on a back table. All the tanks are very dirty and you can barely see into them. The filters stopped working. In the dream Im freaking out trying to get the filters working and changing the water so the fish dont die. I have no idea why they are in the garage but in the dream it seems normal for them to be there.

The only thing I can figure is that Im always so diligent with my animals. Making sure everything is right for them. I worry about them.

    Re: Snake Dreams

I just had a dream last night that my BP eggs hatched and they all looked completely different. One looked like my albino kingsnake. Then I accidently left a very small kitten in the tub with them which made me worry about them.
Dreams can be real random some times.

I dont even have a cat?

    Re: Snake Dreams

I dream about them all the time. Once my dad cut one of of my snakes in half and separated her like a worm, and she split into two snakes. I've had a few where I travel to new cities and go to pet stores in them, and there's always really amazing snakes for cheap. I love those dreams, haha, they're the only time I can own pieds!
