    Holy... ovulation??

I just checked on Mona, and she is HUGE!! It looks like she swallowed a bunny, and just yesterday she looked like her normal self... seems like an ovulation to me, but I'm not sure the timing is right. She last ate on 3/25, copulated with Toby & Julius on 4/4 and 4/15, and her last shed was on 2/24. Based on these stats and her pictures below, is she ovulating or just building some major follicles? And should I continue introducing the boys, or assume their job is done?

As for Nerissa, I'm not sure what stage she's at... she hasn't eaten since October '09, so she looks small with a tiny bit of swelling (still weighs over 1700g though). She last shed on 2/8, glowed a few weeks after that, and has refused Toby & Vinnie for about a month. I'll also post her photo below, and would appreciate input on her as well. It's my first season breeding, in case you couldn't tell - LOL.

    Here's Mona...

Thanks - to both of you! I'm very excited, and can't wait to see some eggs... also can't wait to see who's the daddy, since she was with two boys. I'm kind of rooting for Mojaves on this clutch, and hoping Nerissa gives me the Pastels.

But please dont feed your BP's any more Rabbits.
Sorry... it was all they had, and she was hungry! LMAO

Btw, here she is with each potential daddy... both post-copulation photos, but I have others of their locks.

    Re: Holy... ovulation??

Soooo... today her swelling is mostly gone, and she just has big lumps going down her (lower half) body. I see 4 distinct lumps, so hopefully that means at least four healthy eggs!
