Another DIY Snake Rack.

Here is my old snake rack. Its just a bookshelf, I brought at a furniture store.
I brought plastic tubs, then Exo Terra Faunarium tubs, and then more tubs for my ever growing collection.
Been using this bookshelf for 2 years plus, if i recall correctly. And decided that, it time to go LID-Less.

Here is how it look like emptied.

Shelf removed.

Custom Wood Panel & Modified Wood Panel (from the existing bookshelf) to accomodate the tubs. There is a 3-inch attachement from the original shelf.

Measure, drill & screw.

For the gap or clearance, i use a cotton bud with the buds cut off, and tape them to the tubs.

Looking good, right?

From 4pm to 7pm. Finish product.

Compare this to the 1st picture I posted. More neat, eh..

Here is the python rack. You can see on the very 1st pic, there was a glass tank. Now, there is a nice looking snake rack.

About 50% occupied.

A few more not shown are the Normals, Pins, Malaysia Blood, corns, milks, kings, hognose.. total 32-heads. with lots of room for future snakes.

I dont want to get rid of the old tubs, that why I plan my tubs that way. Thanks for viewing.
